One thing that I'm interested in are non-intuitive solutions. Like when a problem is solved in a unique novel way and not something that one would expect.
Delta Arm Robot - When you think about it - if someone asked you to design a robot arm that picked up things, you would probably model it after a human arm. You probably wouldn't think to use they 3 robot arms suspended from above and use a vacuum suction cup as the gripper.
 | SCARA Arm robot - This is another type of robot arm. This one is closer to what a human arm would look like. So not as innovative as the Delta - but the rails for adjusting the height are unique. |
 | Cranberry Harvesting - Again a unique solution. Flood the field and then whack the cranberry tree and let the berries float to the top. |
